For the 3x3 icons idea we experimented with different coloured backgrounds, bigger icons and a structured tile format. We tried a version with no tiles, square tiles and rounded rectangular tiles. We also made sure that there is a place for the copyright logo at the bottom of the menu. The Towner logo was moved to the left side of the header to concur with the headers on the main website.

Tile format with rounded rectangles. We are liking this one over the others, the rounded edges give the website a very clean and smooth look.
