Olympics Animation 4/5

For my penultimate animation I am thinking along the lines of using post-it notes to create a similar effect as seen in these videos.
In was to incorporate the wording 'London 2012' and somehow use the post-it notes to animate this.

I can see that this would be a very time consuming task as i would have to re-arrange most of the notes for each of the 24 frames to create just one movement. However it is such a clever effect that would be worth recreating. I really like the retro electronic feel that it creates as well.

This clip uses post-it notes to animate  the look and feel of retro  8bit video/arcade games such as Tetris,Pong and Snake. I can only begin to imagine how much time and effort it took to make this.

Baring in mind that I only have 1 second (24 frames) in which to create the animation i am going to have to plan my timings carefully to ensure that it loops successfully.
I will need to plan out how the numbers and lettering will appear on screen and therefore which notes I will need to move in each frame to create the effect.

I am planning on using the colours of the 2012 Olympics logo such as...
Yellow
Pink
Green
Blue.

Post-it notes are also relatively easy to obtain in these colours.
I will also need a large space to work.
