After a great deal of planning i have managed to work out a template for my animation.
I have chosen a yellow border with pink notes in the centre to create my 'screen'.
My idea is to have the word 'London' appear along the top. A letter will be drawn on each note so therefore i will require 6 frames to reveal the word. Towards the end of the animation, the words will disappear again so that frame 1 and frame 24 look the same. This is necessary to ensure that the animation will loop properly.'2012' will then move in a downwards motion and disappear out the bottom of the screen. the '2012' notes will be blue.
The initial border for the animation.
The eagle-eyed will notice that the central notes are a lighter shade of pink. This is due to the fact that unfortunately my supplier had run out of the darker shade.. However it will not ruin the effect that i intend to create.
I have worked out that it will take 16 frames for the 2012 numbers to appear and then disappear.
It will take 6 frames for the word 'London' to appear.
This leaves me with 2 frames to fill. In the last 6 frames i will remove the word London, removing one letter per frame, this should ensure that i have all 24 frames filled..
Now it is time to step away from the post it notes for a while or find my sunglasses! They are much brighter than they look here.
